At Mule Coffee Roasters, our Marrickville Coffee Lab is more than just a cafe, it’s a hub where specialty coffee, music, and community come together. What started as an old, rundown building has been transformed into our headquarters, a space dedicated to showcasing our ethically sourced specialty coffee, training baristas, and offering a unique sensory coffee experience in Sydney.

Welcomed by an outstanding San Remo Café Racer, backed by a Mahlkönig grinder set and the mighty EK43, our space is thoughtfully designed to create a sensory and personal experience.
With natural light pouring in, greenery hanging from the industrial-style ceiling, and a backdrop resembling a music practice room—complete with a drum kit and amplifiers; Mule Espresso Bar is more than just a cafe; it’s a place where coffee, music, and community come together.

From Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, our Mule Espresso Bar is brewing up more than just coffee—it’s a carefully curated specialty coffee experience with a rhythm of its own. Our menu features expertly crafted specialty coffee, Argentinian empanadas, and a selection of snacks to keep the good vibes going.
At the heart of it all, our espresso machine is always in tune, extracting the best from our Colombian Rhapsody Blend, La Bomba single origin, and rotating microlots, each note bringing something special to the cup. Looking for a smooth groove? Try our batch brew and cold brews, all made with fully sustainable, socially, and environmentally responsible specialty coffee.
