Our Decaf Coffee are Sugar Cane EA processed

Our decaffeination process is FDA approved and completely chemical-free.We use a unique combination of sugar cane and water to extract caffeine from our coffee beans, resulting in a sweet and flavourful cup without sacrificing the true essence of the coffee.

To begin the process, our green beans are steamed to remove the silver skin. Then, they are submerged in fresh spring water until saturated. Once saturated, the beans are transferred to extractors where they come into direct contact with sugar cane ethyl acetate for a period of eight hours, dissolving the caffeine content.

After the caffeine is removed, the decaffeinated coffee is dried in a chamber until it reaches the same moisture content as it had prior to the process. Despite the removal of 97% of the caffeine, the result is a delicious, full-bodied coffee with all the flavour and aroma you expect, but without the caffeine.
